NOAA just gave LLOG Exploration the green light to do underwater surveys for oil and gas in the Gulf of Mexico from the end of 2024 through early 2026. These surveys might accidentally bother some marine mammals, but NOAA says the impact will be super small and safe. This means oil and gas work can keep moving forward while keeping ocean critters in mind!
