Three Recreation Sites Protected for 20 Years

The order protects Island Creek Recreation Area, Iron Mountain Recreation Area, and Olalla-Thompson Day Use Recreation Area in Douglas County, Oregon starting January 7, 2025 for 20 years. The total areas described, including public and non-Federal lands and subsurface interests, aggregate 163.62 acres; if the United States later acquires the listed non-Federal lands or mineral interests, those areas will receive the same protection.
