New Boots to Business Form Burden
The SBA will collect information through a new online Boots to Business registration form (Form 2453, OMB Control Number 3245-0384) from eligible transitioning service members and their spouses. The agency estimates 24,000 annual respondents and a total annual burden of 120,000 hours, which averages to about 5 hours per respondent.

Information collected on the Boots to Business registration form will be used to report course statistics, manage course operations, tailor individual classes based on participants' experience and interests, and contact Boots to Business alumni. These uses are intended to improve course delivery and follow-up for participants.
