Per-Contract Clearing Fee Increase

Starting February 14, 2025, the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) raises its per-contract clearing fee from $0.02 to $0.025. Traders and firms that clear options through OCC will pay an additional $0.005 for each contract cleared.

Removal of $55 Large-Trade Flat Fee

Starting February 14, 2025, OCC removes the flat $55 per-transaction fee that applied to transactions of 2,751 or more contracts. Transactions at or above 2,751 contracts will no longer show that $55 flat fee on OCC's schedule of fees.
