License transfer to local water company

On November 15, 2024, Southern California Edison and Fontana Union Water Company filed to transfer the license for the 500-kilowatt Lytle Creek Hydroelectric Project (Project No. 1932) to Fontana Union Water Company. If FERC approves the transfer, Fontana Union Water Company (the transferee) will be required to comply with all requirements of the project license.

30‑day public comment and intervention window

The Commission is soliciting comments, motions to intervene, and protests for 30 days from the date the notice is issued. The Commission encourages electronic filing (eFiling) and allows brief eComments up to 6,000 characters; it also offers Office of Public Participation help for landowners, Tribal members, and others who want to engage.
