FERC opens investigation of ComEd rates
On June 30, 2025, FERC instituted a Section 206 investigation into Commonwealth Edison Company's formula rate and proposed tariff revisions to determine whether the rate is unjust, unreasonable, unduly discriminatory, or preferential.
Potential refunds effective July 3, 2025
If FERC finds Commonwealth Edison's formula rate unlawful, refunds to customers in Docket No. EL25-94-000 will be effective as of the date this notice was published in the Federal Register (July 3, 2025).
