Turbine Venting Extended to Oct 31
Dominion Energy South Carolina asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to extend the Parr Hydroelectric Project's seasonal turbine venting period. The Plan normally requires venting from June 15 to August 31, but the licensee seeks approval to continue turbine venting through October 31, 2025 to help increase dissolved oxygen levels downstream of Parr Shoals Dam.
