CBP Keeps FTZ Permit Forms Active

U.S. Customs and Border Protection will continue using CBP Form 214 and CBP Form 216 so businesses can apply for Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) activity permits. This extension keeps the current application process in place while CBP submits the information collection request for review.

No New Fees or Big Changes Announced

The extension request says there are no new fees or major changes tied to continuing use of the FTZ application forms. Businesses using Foreign-Trade Zones are invited to review the request and submit public comments during the PRA review.
