Notice
Summary
The government is lowering the fee to 1% for Bristol Bay red king crab fishers to help pay back a big loan used to reduce too many crab boats in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands. Other crab fishers still pay the usual 5% fee. This change helps crabbers save money while keeping the fishing fleet balanced and healthy.
