ISE Lowers Options Regulatory Fee
Starting October 1, 2025, Nasdaq ISE will reduce its Options Regulatory Fee (ORF) from $0.0013 to $0.0003 per contract side. Traders and Members who are assessed the ORF will pay $0.0010 less per contract side on covered Customer options transactions.
Which Trades Are Charged ORF
The ORF is assessed on Customer options transactions that are either executed by an ISE Member on ISE or cleared by an ISE Member at OCC in the Customer range. If the OCC clearing member is an ISE Member, ORF is assessed and collected on all cleared Customer contracts (after CMTA adjustments); if the OCC clearing member is not an ISE Member, ORF is collected only on cleared Customer contracts executed at ISE, taking CMTA instructions into account.
