Summary

The U.S. is launching investigations to see if van-type trailers and parts from Canada, China, and Mexico are being sold unfairly cheap or getting government help. If so, this could hurt U.S. trailer makers and might lead to new duties or taxes on these imports. The first big decision is due by January 5, 2026, so things are moving fast!

The Department of Commerce's preliminary determination is due by January 5, 2026, and the Commission must transmit its views to Commerce by January 12, 2026.
