Gas Pipeline Recordkeeping Requirements

PHMSA will renew mandatory recordkeeping requirements for owners and operators of gas pipeline facilities under 49 CFR part 192, including maintaining certain records for specified periods or for the life of the pipeline. The collection (OMB 2137-0049) expires 04/30/2026 and estimates 3,861,842 responses and 1,677,030 annual burden hours. PHMSA requests a three-year renewal and comments by December 29, 2025.
