The project includes modifications at three existing compressor stations and construction of one new compressor station in Madison Parish, Louisiana and Jasper, Forrest, and Hinds Counties, Mississippi.
FERC EA Finds No Significant Environmental Impact
FERC staff's Environmental Assessment (EA) for the SECURE Project concludes that approval of the proposed project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The EA assessed potential effects, alternatives, and mitigation for the compressor station work in Madison Parish, Louisiana and Jasper, Forrest, and Hinds Counties, Mississippi.
