Italy Artifact Import Ban Extended
If you collect, sell, or import archaeological material from Italy, the U.S. import restrictions remain in effect through January 12, 2031. This extension is effective January 14, 2026 and applies to categories listed in CBP Dec. 11-03 covering pre-Classical, Classical, and Imperial Roman periods (approx. 9th century B.C. to 4th century A.D.).
