U.S. SDN Designations Block Assets
On April 10, 2025, the Department of State published that certain persons were added to the Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of those persons are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them.
Specific Companies and Vessels Designated
Effective April 10, 2025, the notice lists specific designations including entities RISING PHOENIX PROVIDER NV and MARZIYA SHIPPING OPC PVT LTD, and vessels AMOR (IMO 9182291) and VIRGO (IMO 9236250). These named entities and vessels are identified as blocked under Executive Order 13846 for significant transactions involving Iranian petroleum, so their property subject to U.S. jurisdiction is blocked.
