Finalized Flood Map Changes

FEMA finalized new flood hazard determinations (LOMRs) for many communities with finalization dates shown in the table (dates range from Dec. 3, 2025 through Dec. 26, 2025). If you live in or own or lease property in the listed communities in CT, FL, IL, IN, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, or VA, your flood zone, Base Flood Elevation, or floodway may have changed and your flood insurance rates or purchase requirements might change.

Community NFIP Management Requirement

FEMA states the revised flood hazard information is the basis for floodplain management measures that each listed community must adopt or show are already in effect to remain qualified for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Communities listed with final LOMR dates between Dec. 3, 2025 and Dec. 26, 2025 must follow these requirements, which can change local rules that affect property owners and lessees.
