Summary
Cboe C2 Exchange just updated its fee rules to make it clear that you only pay for Logical Ports if those ports are actually live and working. Free weekend production testing for new ports
The Exchange offers weekend testing in the production environment so participants can test updated or new logical port types without being charged until those ports are available in the live production environment. Participation in weekend testing is voluntary, and the Exchange says this testing reduces the chance of disruptive system failures when new protocols are later launched.
You only pay for live logical ports
The Exchange clarified that monthly Logical Port Fees apply only if the matching logical port type is available in the live production environment. If a logical port supports an updated protocol that has not yet launched in the live environment, that port is not charged during weekend production testing and no fee will be assessed until the port type is live.
