Annual Electronic Property Reports Required
If you hold NASA property under a contract, grant, or cooperative agreement, you must submit an annual electronic property summary using NASA Form 1018 at the end of each fiscal year. The collection is electronic and is part of NASA's reinstated information collection OMB No. 2700-0017.
Estimated Paperwork Burden: 726 Respondents
NASA estimates this collection will have 726 respondents with 726 annual responses, an estimated 5.8 hours per response, and a total annual burden of 4,195 hours. The agency is requesting public comment on the burden estimate and ways to reduce respondent time.
Property Management System Analysis at Award Start
When you begin an award that includes NASA property, you must provide information to verify your property management system using NASA Form 1019 at the start of the award; Federal agencies assisting NASA may gather the same information according to a risk matrix. NASA will analyze award recipients' property management policies, procedures, practices, and systems in accordance with FAR Part 45.
