Simpler NASA Discrimination Form
NASA revised its Complaint of Discrimination (Form 1355P) to reduce paperwork and respondent burden and to make it easier for employees, former employees, and job applicants to report unfair treatment. NASA estimates 60 annual responses, 30 minutes per response, and a total annual burden of 30 hours. If you want to comment on the revision you may do so by May 29, 2026 at no cost.
Formal Complaint Filing Requirements
To file a formal discrimination complaint under NASA's process, the complaint must be in writing, specific to claims raised in pre-complaint counseling, signed by the filer or their representative, and filed within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date the individual receives the Notice of Right to File a Discrimination Complaint. NASA uses Form NF-1355 to ensure these requirements are met.
