NYSE Arca's Fee Shuffle: Third-Party Connections Get Pricier

Published Date: 3/12/2026

Notice

Summary

NYSE Arca is updating its fee schedule for connecting to outside systems and data feeds. This change affects traders and firms using their colocation services, adjusting which third-party connections are available and how much they cost. The new fees take effect immediately, so users should check the updated list and prices to stay in the game.

Analyzed Economic Effects

5 provisions identified: 3 benefits, 2 costs, 0 mixed.

New Third-Party Data Feeds with Fees

If you use NYSE Arca colocation services, the Exchange added three Third Party Data Feeds at the MDC with monthly fees: 24X for $4,000/month, Bruce ATS for $1,250/month, and Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) for $1,300/month. You will be charged the listed monthly fee only if you enter into a contract with the content provider and opt in to the Exchange's connectivity.

Fee Changes Effective Immediately

NYSE Arca filed the proposed rule change on February 26, 2026 and it became effective upon filing under the referenced Exchange Act provisions, so the new Third Party Data Feed fees (listed above) are effective immediately. Users should review the updated Connectivity Fee Schedule if they plan to subscribe or change connections.

New Third-Party Execution Systems Added

If you use NYSE Arca colocation services at the Mahwah data center (MDC), NYSE Arca added 24X, Bruce ATS, and Texas Stock Exchange (TSXE) to the list of third-party execution systems you can connect to. The Exchange is not changing the monthly recurring access fees for these Third Party Systems, and you only pay for systems you choose.

Bandwidth Pricing Remains Size-Based

NYSE Arca is not changing the monthly recurring bandwidth pricing for connectivity to Third Party Systems; bandwidth connection fees will continue to vary by the size of the connection, not by which Third Party System you choose. The Exchange states it is expanding the list of systems you may access via those bandwidth connections without changing their pricing.

Connectivity Fees Voluntary and Uniform

Purchasing any colocation access or Third Party Data Feed connectivity from the Exchange is voluntary, and the Connectivity Fee Schedule is applied uniformly to all Users. You will only be charged for services you voluntarily select.
