Homeowner Disaster Loan Access

If your home in the declared rural area was damaged by the severe storms from October 8–13, 2025, you can apply for an SBA physical damage loan. Homeowner interest rates are 6.000% if you have credit available elsewhere and 3.000% if you do not, and the physical loan application deadline is June 15, 2026.

Business Physical Damage Loans

Businesses in the declared rural area can apply for SBA physical damage loans to repair storm damage from October 8–13, 2025. Business interest rates are 8.000% if credit is available elsewhere and 4.000% if not, with a physical loan application deadline of June 15, 2026.

Economic Injury (EIDL) Loan Availability

Businesses and small agricultural cooperatives in the declared rural area can apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) for losses related to the October 8–13, 2025 disaster. The interest rate for businesses and small agricultural cooperatives without credit available elsewhere is 4.000%, and the EIDL application deadline is January 15, 2027.

Private Nonprofit Loan Eligibility

Private nonprofit organizations in the declared rural area may apply for both physical damage loans and economic injury loans related to the October 8–13, 2025 disaster. The interest rate listed for private non-profit organizations is 3.625% and applicable application deadlines are June 15, 2026 for physical damage and January 15, 2027 for economic injury.
