Homeowner Disaster Loan Help
If you own your home and were affected by the March 10–24, 2026 storms in the listed Hawaii counties, you can apply for SBA physical disaster loans. Physical loan applications are due by June 10, 2026; interest rates are 5.750% if you have credit available elsewhere and 2.875% if you do not.
Business Physical Damage Loans
If your small business was damaged by the March 10–24, 2026 storms in the listed Hawaii counties, you can apply for SBA physical disaster loans by June 10, 2026. Interest rates are 8.000% for businesses with credit available elsewhere and 4.000% for those without credit available elsewhere.
Private Nonprofit Physical Damage Loans
Private nonprofit organizations in the disaster area can apply for SBA physical disaster loans by June 10, 2026. The interest rate shown for private nonprofit organizations is 3.625% (both with and without credit available elsewhere).
Economic Injury (EIDL) Loans for Businesses
Businesses and small agricultural cooperatives in the declared primary counties (and certain contiguous counties for EIDL only) may apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) by January 7, 2027. The interest rate for businesses and small agricultural cooperatives without credit available elsewhere is 4.000%.
EIDL Availability for Private Nonprofits
Private nonprofit organizations in the affected areas may apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans by January 7, 2027. The interest rate listed for private nonprofit organizations without credit available elsewhere is 3.625%. Note: Kalawao and Kauai are listed as contiguous counties eligible for EIDL only.
