Local Rail Service Continues Under BIP
Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad (BIP) will continue to operate about 46.9 miles of rail line: the Marietta Subdivision (~38.0 miles), the Parkersburg Running Track (~5.29 miles), and the High Yard Main Track (~3.61 miles). The amended lease/operation terms take effect on or after May 10, 2026. If you are a business or shipper in Belpre/Marietta, Ohio or Parkersburg, West Virginia, BIP will remain the operator of these lines.
