Annual Report Deadline Moved

If you operate gas distribution, gas transmission, regulated gas gathering, Type R gathering lines, underground natural gas storage, or liquefied natural gas facilities, your annual report deadline would move from March 15 to June 15 each year. PHMSA preliminarily estimates the 3-month extension will produce roughly $1 million in annual cost savings across the regulated community by reducing contractor or overtime needs and expects those savings may reduce costs passed to the public.

NPMS Geospatial Deadline Aligned

If you operate gas transmission pipelines or liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, the deadline to submit geospatial (NPMS) information would change from March 15 to June 15 each year. PHMSA says aligning the NPMS submission with the annual report deadline should reduce duplicate work, improve quality control between submissions, and help lower compliance burden.
