Up to $2.6M Grant Available
The Department of Education is offering a competitive FY 2026 grant with a maximum award of $2,600,000 for a single 12-month budget period to create a National Center for Accessible Education Videos. Eligible applicants include State educational agencies, local educational agencies (including public charter schools), institutions of higher education, other public agencies, private nonprofit organizations, Indian Tribes or Tribal organizations, and for-profit organizations. Applications must be submitted through Grants.gov by 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern time on June 26, 2026.
Accessible Videos and Captioning for Students
The program’s purpose is to improve results for children with disabilities by promoting technology for learning, supporting classroom educational activities, providing support for captioning and video description appropriate for classroom use, and delivering accessible educational materials in a timely manner. This FY 2026 competition names the absolute priority: National Center for Accessible Education Videos, focused on those accessibility features.
