Classic uses about 22 motor coaches and employs about 29 drivers, and TBL Group says adding Classic will increase capacity and operating efficiencies in the Chicago area. Comments on the deal must be filed by June 22, 2026; if none are filed, the approval becomes effective June 23, 2026.
Employees largely kept on; limited back-office cuts
TBL Group says that after it buys Classic, substantially all of Classic’s current employees will be offered jobs with no negative changes to pay or benefits. The company also says there may be limited downsizing of back-office or managerial personnel. The application reports Classic has about 29 drivers.
