On June 13, 2026, from 8:45 p.m. through 9:25 p.m., all vessels are prohibited from entering, transiting, or anchoring within a 200-foot radius of a fireworks barge at 41°50'31.38" N, 87°40'26.78" W on the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal unless they obtain permission. Any vessel granted permission must obey the Captain of the Port Lake Michigan or the designated on-scene representative and follow hails by siren, radio, flashing light, or other means.
