Tribes identified in the notice or lineal descendants may submit written requests for repatriation to Amber-Marie Madrid, NAGPRA Director at California State University, Channel Islands; repatriation may occur on or after June 11, 2026, and CSUCI will resolve any competing requests (joint requests are treated as one).
