Tighter limits on VA data sharing
If enacted, this bill would tighten who can see veterans’ VA records. The VA would be barred from giving any veteran’s data to the Administrator of the United States DOGE Service. Outside workers called “special Government employees” could only use data for VA‑approved government work, not for profit. When their service ends, they would have to return all data and keep no copies. These rules would cover health, ID, and financial information and would start upon enactment.
