Proposed 2026 pay raise for federal workers
For calendar year 2026, federal employees on statutory pay systems would receive a 3.3% basic pay increase. Prevailing rate (wage grade) employees would also receive 3.3% for fiscal year 2026. That raise would be based on the basic pay rate on the last day of FY2025, regardless of the usual wage survey. If you receive locality pay, your locality adjustment would rise by 1% in calendar year 2026.
