Peter J. McGuire Labor Day Landmark Act

Summary

Designates the Peter J. McGuire Memorial and Gravesite as the Peter J. McGuire Memorial National Commemorative Site. This bill would state the site is not a unit of the National Park System and would allow the Secretary of the Interior to enter cooperative agreements with public or private entities to provide educational and interpretive facilities and programs. The Secretary could also provide technical and financial assistance under those agreements. The bill preserves property owners' rights and records McGuire's role in early labor organizing, the memorial's sculpture and colonnade, annual Labor Day observances, and its listings on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.
