This bill would ban dual roles for top Federal Reserve leaders. Fed Governors, Fed Bank presidents, and the New York Fed's First Vice President could not hold any other presidentially appointed job. This would apply even if they are on leave from the other job. The ban would start on the day the bill becomes law. Anyone made ineligible in a covered Fed role would be removed that day.
