Analyzed Economic Effects
2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.
Service Academies accept Classic Learning Test scores
If enacted, each U.S. Service Academy would let applicants submit Classic Learning Test, SAT, or ACT scores. If you apply, you could use any of these test scores. This could make applying easier for students who took the CLT.
11th graders in federal schools take Classic Learning Test
If enacted, schools run by the Department of Defense Education Activity and the Bureau of Indian Education would give the Classic Learning Test to 11th graders. This would include tribally controlled schools funded or run by BIE. Schools, not families, would arrange and give the test. Students would have added testing time, but could gain another college-admission score option.
