Right to representation for VA employees. This bill would add a section to title 38 giving most VA employees a right to chosen representation during examinations that could lead to disciplinary action, with representation on duty time when applicable, excluding senior executives and certain appointees.

Right to a representative for VA workers
This bill would let most VA employees have a representative at a work exam they think could lead to discipline, if they ask. The VA would have to allow a representative of the employee’s choosing. The representative could attend on duty time when allowed. This would not cover senior executives, political appointees, or certain VA medical or temporary appointees.
