Study stormwater near oil and gas sites
If enacted, the Secretary of the Interior would study stormwater in any area the Secretary determines may be contaminated by runoff from oil or gas operations. The study would measure contamination, analyze groundwater resources, and assess whether aquifers are vulnerable to contamination from such runoff. The Secretary would send a report on the study results to Congress within one year after enactment.
