Quarterly public reporting of the cost of tariffs on households and small businesses. This bill would require the Administrator of the Small Business Administration, in consultation with the Bureau of Economic Analysis, to publish quarterly estimates of the average aggregate cost of tariffs imposed after January 20, 2025 to consumers and to small business concerns as defined in the Small Business Act.

Quarterly tariff cost reports for consumers and small businesses

If enacted, the SBA Administrator, working with the BEA Director, would publish public reports on tariff costs. The reports would estimate the average total cost of tariffs imposed after January 20, 2025. After that, reports would come every quarter. The last quarterly report each year would include the total annual cost.
