Prohibit Partisan Park Passes Act
Sponsored By: Representative Elfreth
Introduced
Summary
Bars living political figures from the America the Beautiful national parks pass. The bill would amend the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to forbid using the image of any living current or former elected official or any other living political figure on the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass. It would not authorize new programs or funding and includes no phase-in or sunset. The change is limited to what imagery the pass may use, aiming to keep pass visuals nonpartisan.
