Summary
Searchable statewide directory of career and technical education programs would let States create a public, searchable catalog of CTE programs and career pathways using open, linked data and updates at least once per program year. The directory would be searchable by district, industry or career cluster, and credential, and would list each program's name, description, location, course sequences, dual or concurrent enrollment or postsecondary credentials, affiliated postsecondary institutions or workforce boards, work-based learning opportunities, and evidence of alignment with labor-market needs.

- Schools and eligible agencies: Would require them to publish standardized, open, interoperable data about each program and update it at least once per program year, creating a single place to show course sequences and partner affiliations.
- Employers and workforce planners: Would surface industry affiliations and evidence of labor-market alignment to help identify training partnerships and talent pipelines.
- Postsecondary institutions and local workforce boards: Would gain clearer visibility of K–12 program offerings and credentials for coordination and credit transfer.

Searchable statewide career education directory
This bill would let States create a public, searchable statewide directory of career and technical education programs and career pathways. The directory would be searchable by the school district or political subdivision where a program is located, by the industry or career cluster it prepares for, and by the credential offered. It would use standard, open, linked, interoperable data formats and be updated at least once each program year. If a State's Perkins Act eligible agency elects to run the directory, each eligible recipient would have to list for every program or pathway: the name and description; the school district or political subdivision location; the industry or career cluster; each sequence of courses; any dual or concurrent enrollment credit or recognized postsecondary credential available; affiliated postsecondary institutions, local workforce development boards, or industry/sector partnerships; any work-based learning opportunities; and evidence the program aligns with current or projected labor market needs.
