  • CAIR and all its chapters, affiliates, and successors would be added to the Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List and have any assets in the United States blocked.
  • No U.S. person may engage in any transaction with CAIR, which would prohibit financial or other dealings between U.S. individuals or entities and CAIR.
  • The Secretary of the Treasury would suspend CAIR's tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code pursuant to section 501(p).
  • Within 30 days after enactment, the Secretaries of State and the Treasury, in consultation with the Attorney General, would submit a detailed unclassified report to specified Congressional committees, with a possible classified annex.

Terror designation and asset freeze
