Of inquiry requesting the President of the United States, and directing the Secretaries of the Treasury and Homeland Security, to furnish certain information to the House of Representatives relating to the implementation and enforcement of the "Memorandum of Understanding for the Exchange of Information for Nontax Criminal Enforcement" between the Department of the Treasury and the Department of Homeland Security.

Would require the President and the Secretaries of the Treasury and Homeland Security to produce records about the Memorandum of Understanding for the Exchange of Information for Nontax Criminal Enforcement. It would demand, within 14 days of adoption, copies of documents, audio recordings, call logs, correspondence, audit trails, written agreements, and other communications that refer or relate to implementing or enforcing the MOU. The scope explicitly includes requests or disclosures of taxpayer return information under Internal Revenue Code section 6103 and materials from specified Treasury/IRS systems such as the Automated Non‑Master File, Information Return Master File, Customer Account Data Engine individual and business master files, audit trail and security records, and the Audit Information Management System. It also seeks policies, procedures, standards, guidelines about handling that information and any records about alleged 6103 violations and corrective actions, with allowable redactions to comply with federal law.
