- Women and girls with PCOS: Would push for improved diagnosis, management, and quality of life for the estimated 5 to 10 million affected in the United States, about 50% of whom may be undiagnosed.
- Health care professionals and researchers: Would encourage more research and the spread of guidance on diagnosing and treating PCOS and its comorbidities, including type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, endometrial cancer, and mental health disorders.
- State, territorial, and local governments: Would be urged to support PCOS Awareness Month and related public education efforts.
