- Families and local communities: Would seek documents measuring reductions in local-area gross domestic product after mass federal layoffs and lease terminations recommended by the Department of Government Efficiency, including cuts to IRS staff and local Social Security offices.
- Workers and unemployment systems: Would request counts of unemployed workers since January 20, 2025, changes in unemployment rates and duration, and increases in total unemployment claims, reported separately by state, region, or local community.
- Consumers and businesses: Would request projected changes in the cost of imported goods tied to tariffs on Canada, Mexico, or other countries since January 20, 2025, with information at national, state, regional, or local levels.
- Records and timing: Would direct transmission, within 14 days of adoption, of copies of memos, call logs, correspondence, audio, reports, studies, and other records that refer or relate to these topics, to the extent such documents exist in the possession of the President or the Secretaries of Treasury and Labor.
