Adolescent Immunization Awareness Week. This resolution would designate the first week of April as Adolescent Immunization Awareness Week and encourage communities to boost vaccinations for adolescents and young adults. It calls on citizens, community groups, faith organizations, health care providers, patient advocates, and government agencies to participate, urges providers to take active steps to heal historic medical mistrust in underserved and rural communities, and requests that the President issue a proclamation recognizing the week.
