If enacted, the Small Business Administration would be required to act within one year of enactment. The SBA would ensure the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience takes steps so people in rural areas with a disaster declared under section 7(b) have full access to SBA disaster assistance. This would include targeted outreach and marketing materials aimed at those rural residents.
