If enacted, this bill would extend VA burial benefits through 2030 for veterans who die at home while receiving VA hospice care. Survivors and beneficiaries of those veterans would remain eligible for the same VA burial benefits through 2030. The change would take effect upon enactment. It would not change benefit amounts or add new eligibility rules.
