S4201119th Congress

Indo-Pacific Space Partnership Act of 2026

Sponsored By: Senator Michael Bennet

Introduced

Summary

Would require a feasibility study on expanding the Multinational Force Operation Olympic Defender to include Indo-Pacific allies, naming Japan and the Republic of Korea as examples. The bill would direct the Chief of Space Operations to submit a report within one year that describes current activities, identifies policy or funding changes those governments might need to join, assesses how accession would affect U.S. national security and whether it is feasible, and lists additional resources or authorities the executive and legislative branches would need. *Does not authorize funding or create any new programs and is limited to the required report.*
