The law increases annual longevity lump-sum payments for eligible Oklahoma state employees. Beginning July 1, 2026, the amounts by years of service are: 2–under 4 $375; 4–under 6 $639; 6–under 8 $939.99; 8–under 10 $1,275; 10–under 12 $1,593; 12–under 14 $1,875; 14–under 16 $2,250; 16–under 18 $2,532; 18–under 20 $2,850; 20+ $3,000. After 20 years, add $300 for each additional full two-year period. You qualify after at least two years of continuous state service; part-time workers qualify with at least two years at more than 1,000 hours per year. If you average 150 hours or less per month, your payment is prorated using hours from the prior 12 months; above 150 hours per month, you get the full amount. Agencies pay one lump sum after your anniversary; total paid from all agencies cannot exceed your table amount, and duplicate payments for the same service are not allowed. The act takes effect upon passage and approval; the higher payment schedule starts July 1, 2026.
