Gives plain meanings for words used in these rules. Person: an individual or organized business group (partnership, corporation, association, business trust). Fur: an animal skin with hair, raw or processed, but not skins to be made into leather or with the hair removed. Used fur: fur a final consumer has worn. Fur product: any garment made wholly or partly of fur or used fur. Waste fur: ears, throats, scrap pieces or mats from pelts. Invoice: a written list used in commercial fur dealings. Commission: the Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Act: the law creating the FTC, approved September 26, 1914 (15 U.S.C. 41 et seq.). Fur Products Name Guide: the register the Commission issues under section 69e. Commerce: trade across or through states, D.C., territories, possessions, or places outside them. United States: the States, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories and possessions.
