Creates a Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Advisory Commission and ends 20 years after the lakeshore is established under section 460x–1. It must have ten members with two‑year terms, appointed by the Secretary: four from county recommendations (two per county where the lakeshore is), four from the Governor of Michigan's recommendations, and two the Secretary selects. The Secretary must pick one member as Chair and fill vacancies the same way. Members are unpaid, but the Secretary may pay reasonable expenses if the Chair signs the vouchers. The Secretary or a designee must consult the Commission on lakeshore development, the matters in sections 460x–8, 460x–11, and 460x–12, and on carrying out the General Management Plan in section 460x–5(b).
