Summary
Gives extra power to buy land for national forests in addition to the powers already in other laws. It does not cancel any part of those other laws unless the statute later says so. That extra power can only be used in parts of Cook, Lake, and Saint Louis Counties, Minnesota. It applies to the specific townships and sections listed by location: Townships 63 through 68 North, Ranges 1 East through 17 West, Fourth Principal Meridian. The statute names many whole townships and many particular sections within those townships.

The authority granted in section 577c of this title shall be supplemental to the authority granted by existing Acts relating to the acquisition of lands for national-forest purposes and shall not be deemed as repealing any portions of those Acts except as provided hereinafter; and said supplemental authority granted by section 577c of this title, but not the authority granted by existing Acts, shall be confined to the following described areas in Cook, Lake, and Saint Louis Counties, State of Minnesota: Township 63 north, range 2 west, fourth principal meridian, sections 5 to 8, inclusive.
